Wendy Barber was born and raised in Orlando. She graduated from William R. Boone High School and earned her A.A. degree at Valencia State College. As a part-time jewelry sales associate during the 1995 Christmas season, she developed a love for gems and a fascination with the jewelry business. As a result, she gave up her accounting job in the medical field and secured a full-time position at a high-end, mall-based jewelry store. This career change has afforded her twenty years of knowledge and experience. Wendy has graduated from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), receiving a Jewelry Service Professional certificate and her Graduate Gemologist Diploma. She derives great joy and satisfaction in assisting guests with unique jewelry designs and educating them on diamonds and gemstones.
